Caesura- my first solo exhibition!

photo 16I’ve been sitting on this news for a few weeks, and I’m excited to announced it now that the venue has launched the online event- I’m having my first solo exhibition next month!

Titled Caesura, the exhibition will showcase some of my recent paintings. My paintings are exploring the emotional resonance between texture and colour, and ephemeral skyscapes as a reflection of an inner world.

If you’re in Canberra over the next few weeks, you should drop in!

22 April – 2 June: Caesura at Honkytonks, 5 Garema Place, Canberra City

“A caesura is a pause- a complete stop used in poetry, which introduces a unique phrase or new line. My skyscapes are intended to evoke their own poetry, visually capturing the sublime poetic veneration of the sky, the horizon and the world of possibilities beyond sight. The viewer is invited to pause and gaze into the space between the earth and the clouds and, in doing so, to blur their division.”
